How long does hard landscaping a garden take?
How long it takes to hard landscape your garden depends on the scope of the project and the size of the property. There are no hard and fast rules about timings, and a number of teams may need to work around each other to achieve your ideal garden. Hard landscaping is usually more time consuming than soft landscaping and adding new features from scratch may take several weeks depending on the size of the garden and the work involved.
Smaller projects may only take a day or two. If you would like an idea of how long your project should take, speak to our team today or book a consultation for us to visit your home and provide a hard landscaping estimate.
Do I need planning permission for hard landscaping?
What you do and do not need permission for varies greatly. You are required to obtain planning permission for some elements of hard landscaping, such as larger hard standing projects, raising the natural ground level, and for some garden structures. We advise to speak to your local planning authority before arranging your hard landscaping works.
